Rick and I lit the menorah for the 1st night of Hannukah tonight. We were a little scared that the broken candle wouldn't make it, but of course it did!
Also, the broken candle lasting the full hour without falling apart and catching the table cloth, and thus the whole house on fire...isn't that the tale between the Hannukah story?

Oh, well it should be!!
always better to use the broken one on the first night!!
