Weekend happenings!

We have taken a number of pictures this weekend! Here are a few of things that have been going on and our visitors!
Summer is one of our neighbors (and the daughter of one of my co-workers)! She really loves Jack, he is just like one of her dolls....just bigger!

On Friday Jack had his 2 month appointment. He weighed in 17 lbs 9.6 oz. Not a typo...he is just big! He measured 24 inches long. No concerns about his weight since he is just breast feeding.

He also had a number of shots! Neither of us liked the shots very much--thank goodness Rick was there to comfort both of us!

He got two shots in each leg!

Grandma Cindy came to visit on Saturday morning!

Jack practiced his tummy time with her!

He loves her!

We had chicken kabobs for dinner on Saturday! They were really good! We will be making these again soon!

More tummy time! Great picture by Rick!

Jack will be outgrowing his car seat pretty soon so we are getting his next car seat ready...at least in Rick's car.

This is the first time he has looked small in quite a while.

9 Weeks!

These smiles are all on his own! No prompting from me! He really is happy and we are so lucky!

Post Bath Time!

Jack really enjoys his bath time now! I haven't been able to get any pictures of him in the bath, but here are a few from afterwards! Very relaxed!

8 Weeks Old!

There are a lot of pictures this week because I just couldn't decide which ones to use! He is so cute! He is holding himself up and smiling more and more each day! You can really see how much bigger he is in the chair this week!

Tummy Time!

Jack's neck strength has really improved this week! Here are some pictures to prove it!

Pretty soon he will be able to keep his head up while he is sitting up! He is getting big so quickly!! It is so fun to see, but I also miss how little he used to be (I realize it wasn't that long ago)!

Mother's Day--part 2

On Monday, we spent the day at the Morton Arboretum with Rick's mom for mother's day! The weather was pretty chilly, but we still had a nice time being outside! The flowers were beautiful and there was a lot for Alex to do!

Getting our picnic set-up!

Jack and Aunt Jackie!

Alex and Uncle Ricky!

This is what Jack did most of the day!

Look at the awesome colors of those flowers!

Alex playing in the dog house!

Alex and Uncle Ricky looking at the tadpoles!

Alex and I went in the water...it was cold...and Alex was rather hesitant!

Rick and Jackie!

One of the best pictures from the day!

Happy Mother's Day, Cindy!

Rick and his mom!

Grandma Cindy with her boys!

Three generations!

Alex loved climbing on this. He talked about Shrek the entire time!

The only picture with ALL of us at the same time that day!

Alex, Tom, and Rick

Alex and Uncle Ricky--great picture!

Afterwards we came back to our house for dinner! Tom and Alex were very excited when the ice cream truck made his daily rounds! Alex is giving the thumb's up!
