Circus!

On Tuesday night, Jackie and Alex joined for a trip to the Kelly Miller Circus. The Downers Grove Education Foundation brings the circus to town as a fundraiser. We had a wonderful time and most importantly Alex seemed to love it!

Seeing the circus tent and elephant for the first time!

Alex wanted was more interested in riding the pony than riding the elephant. These were some fast moving ponies though. I had a hard time keeping up!

Alex saw the tigers once we were inside the tent! Here he is pointing to them.

Alex was great at clapping! Anytime the audience clapped, Alex joined right in and even let out some screams of excitement.

This guy balances this pole on his head.

Then his wife climbs to the top and does tricks like these.

Then it is his kids turn!

At the intermission Rick and Alex rode the elephant. There were also a bunch of other people on the elephant as well so it was difficult to get a good picture of them.

After the elephant ride Alex claimed he needed to go to the bathroom, but really he wanted a snack. Here he is eating a hotdog and clapping at the same time!




The elephants performing was the finale of the show!

Alex was pretty tired at the end of the night...we can't blaim him!
