Our Trip to Muncie!

This past weekend we spent our time at Ball State. I left school Friday afternoon and picked up Mackenzie on my way to Indianapolis to pick up Rick at the airport. We then made the rest of the trip to Muncie. I was asked to give the keynote speech at the NRHH Leadership Conference (an organization I was part of during college). It was quite an honor, but fairly stressful writing a 20 minute speech.

I had some technical difficulties in printing the speech and then getting the powerpoint up on the projector. I was fortunate that Rick was patient with me and got everything working perfectly!

I spoke about Megan and the impact she and her passing has had on my life and what it can teach others about living in the moment and cherishing what life has to offer.

After the conference and dinner we went to Puerto's for dessert and drinks. Here is Mackenzie's "jumbo" margarita!

We had a wonderful weekend...it was busy and hectic but very nice nonetheless.
