Adam and Taryn welcomed Khalil James Volbrecht into their lives on Wednesday, June 10th. He weighed. 7.8 pounds and was 20 inches. Rick and I are so happy and excited for Adam and Taryn. We saw a few pictures earlier this week, but decided to go visit on Sunday. Rick thought we should wait longer to go visit, but I said we should go. We are really glad we did. Khalil is beautiful and has been welcomed into the most loving family.
Khalil slept for the first hour we were there. Rick went to get us some lunch and when he got back he woke up. 
He stayed awake for a few pictures (and more importantly to eat).
Then back to sleep while Rick held him. He is so perfect!
He keeps his hands near his face and ears all the time.
Our visit was short, but very sweet. We can't wait to go visit again. Congratulations, Volbrecht's! You deserve all the best!
