Tur-tle Cake and Cheesecake

Tonight I did some baking to take with us on our trip to Muncie. It was also a trial run for making a cake for Alex's Birthday. The cake is suppose to look like this. Here is how mine turned out. Not quite the same, but I think it is cute.

I also make cheesecake to take with us.

The kitchen got its workout tonight: Here is one frosting station.

Here is a second frosting station and cake building station (and pasta sauce).

This is where the cheesecake station was, but it was put away before the camera came out!
