The paint went on the walls yesterday! Rick and I were very excited to get home and see it...only to be disappointed with the pain color we had chosen. It did grow on us slightly, but after talking to Kevin we are going to change it. Unfortunately, the decision of what color to change it to caused us a lot of stress last night.
We also went to a local carpet place to look at carpets and get an estimate on doing the downstairs and the stairs. It was more than we were hoping for and that additionally caused stress. The project and gone so smoothly, but now that we are down to the decorating choices we are really struggling to make decisions!

The outside wall with its first coat of paint! It is almost hard to remember that there were two doors before.
The color inside the room. It actually looks better with all of the natural light, but we usually keep these blinds closed because it is at ground level and we don't want people looking in our house.
