Happy 4th Birthday Alex!!

Today Alex turns 4--it is hard to believe! We are very lucky to be able to spend so much time with him and know that he will be a great cousin to our baby! We have so many pictures of him from this year, but here are a few of my favorite from his year of being 3!

Christmas Pictures (at least a couple)

Jackie and Cindy took most of the pictures on Christmas Eve so I don't have too many (I will be getting them this weekend!). However, here are a few pictures from the evening!

Alex really loved opening presents again this year and got so excited about everything that he opened! It was really enjoyable to watch him!

I got Rick Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics for the Wii! It has been really fun to play so far! Rick loves the winter Olympics, especially curling so we have enjoyed playing!

Week 29

We took these pictures last night and then I realized that I was wearing the same shirt as last week--oh well! Not too many changes since last week, I have just been enjoying my time off of work. I go back to work on Monday for 10 more weeks before the baby arrives!

Christmas with the Volbrecht's!

This past weekend we went up to Milwaukee to visit with the Volbrecht's! We had a great time relaxing and hanging out with Adam, Taryn, and Khalil! We were also able to spoil Khalil with Christmas presents, although, he was more of a fan of the wrapping paper than the presents!

We are so excited that our baby and Khalil will be so close in age and be able to play together! It is hard to believe that one day they will be the same size!

He is just so cute!

We got Khalil a hat that will cover his neck as well as his head. We weren't sure how he would like it so we had the camera ready in case it was short lived.

But he didn't seem to mind at all!

Khalil and Me!

Week 28

Here are the pictures for this week! I am off school until January 4th. I went to the doctor yesterday for my monthly check-up. He said everything was good, but the baby had a growth spurt this month. We are having an ultrasound in two weeks to check the size.

I also had my glucose test yesterday while I was at the hospital. I don't anticipate any issues so I probably won't hear anything about the results!

Being home has been relaxing so far and I am looking forward to rest of break. It is hard to believe that next Christmas we will have another member of our family!

Our Toilet Works!

The grout was put over the tile yesterday! It looks fabulous! And even better the toilet works now also!

We have a tile floor!

I don't think the pictures really do it justice, but the tile is down in the bathroom! Rick and I are really happy with the way it looks and so far it matches the paint color well!
