Week 27

I am now into the 3rd trimester. The baby is kicking a lot more. I am still feeling pretty good, other than sleeping (which I have pretty much given up on). We also got a gift in the mail this week from Matt and Jenna. The last picture in this post is the mobile they sent us for the crib! It really matches the room well!

Bathroom Remodel--Paint and a new floor

Yesterday we got the new paint (the orange is gone) put up in the bathroom and today a new sub-floor went in! It is nice to be seeing some progress. It is kind of hard to remember what our house was like with two bathrooms! Hopefully it won't be long until this one is up and working again!

Week 26

These pictures are late getting posted, but were taken on Monday. This is the last week of my 2nd trimester. It is getting harder to move and sleep! Overall, I am still feeling really good and can't complain!

Last Weekend with Alex!

We spent most of last weekend with Alex. We have a lot of good pictures to remember the weekend!

These are the Christmas hats that my student council was selling. I brought home one of each for Alex. Rick and Alex tried them one! Too cute! (If anyone wants a hat, they are $3....we still have plenty!)

It is hard to see what Alex is sitting on, but these are the hippos at the Bolingbrook Promenade. We visited them a couple years ago with him. He called them the "Po's" then.

Then we went to Bass Pro Shop to have his picture taken with Santa! He was trying to feed the reindeer that were on display while we waited in line.

Later that evening we went to Brookfield Zoo. This is the train Alex had been talking about riding and the first thing we did. Unfortunately, every picture I took was only of part of his face.

On our way out, we saw the life size animals. Alex loved these guys again this year!

He especially liked the penguin who pretended to steal things from people. He thought this was hilarious (as long as it wasn't anything from him).

Then Sunday morning Alex and I baked some cookies!

Very appropriate that Alex is in his Cookie Monster pajamas!

Then Rick and Alex wrote a letter to Santa! It was very sweet!

Rick's first 5K!

Last Saturday Rick ran the Lockport Jingle Bell 5K race. We was supposed to run with Jackie, but she needed to go to a memorial service. Rick did a great job. Alex and I met him at the finish. He finished in about 30 minutes and 30 seconds!

Room gets a rug!

We received the rug for the baby's room today! The pictures look kind of dark, but it still looks really good. It helps with the sound in the room and is really soft which will be nice!

Week 25

Obviously this picture is a little late this week and in our rush to get out the door this morning we actually took it outside!

I have been receiving many comments that I have recently "popped". I think it is just that people didn't see me for a few days over the long weekend. Either way, the baby is growing!
